We loved staying at this small hotel with its great staff, and we had a fantastic three-night stay without any complaints.

Everything was excellent, patient staff, incredible location very close to shops, restaurants and the Chateau, and restaurants & river. Well-appointed and brand-new unit for all amenities of chinon. Overall a very lovely stay for 3 nights.

The rooms here are exceptionally clean, attractive, and feature a comfortable king bed along with a very new bathroom and a large bath.

The location was particularly good and fantastic, just a short walk away from a hilltop castle. the rooms were compact and new-fashioned, equipped with terraces, and a very new bathroom. Best Western Hotel De France in Chinon is ideally situated close to a hilltop castle and offers modern, well-equipped rooms with charming terraces and updated bathrooms.

The staff was very friendly. The room was well-appointed and new-fashioned when upgraded.The location was particularly good and incredible for Chinon.The hotel is next to the centre of Chinon with great views of the Castle, shops, restaurants, and the Chateau.The picturesque main square of Chinon is at the foot of the Chateau ruins.The patio served a lot of meals for breakfast.Had nice dainties at Au Cafe Chaud, located an easy walk to the hotel.Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast okay, room a little bit small. But the place out the room was a little loud. In the evening, long catering and corresponding loud conversations, the next morning (Sunday) market setup, i.e. shunting of trucks.

This hotel is located right on a charming square in the very centre of Chinon, making it the perfect base for exploring the town. The staff were attentive and the rooms had a nice view of the fortress. I was impressed with the attention to detail, especially in the very new bathroom which had a large bath. It was great to have breakfast included in the price.

All was well and exceeded my expectations.

The location of the hotel

The mattress was very bad, it was worn out and urgently needed to be replaced. . I did not like the plastic furniture.

The room was comfortable, well-appointed with a cozy bed and soft pillows, and it's in a prime location near a picturesque square, right in the heart of town with easy access to restaurants.

Situation - adequate for a short stay

I had a fantastic stay at this centrally situated hotel. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of town with easy parking nearby. The breakfast was lovely and I appreciated the thoughtful addition of a fan in my room during the hot weather. The old building had a charming atmosphere with private terracing. I highly recommend this hotel.
